Lindsey Hill, the San Diego woman who accuses Trevor Bauer of sexual assault
Who is Lindsey Hill
Bauer allegedly met Lindsey Hill, a San Diego lady, on social networking. According to the defamation and tortious interference lawsuit filed by the Dodgers pitcher against her, the two met in person twice at his home for consensual rough intercourse after discussing her sexual preferences.
“Ms. Hill pursued Mr. Bauer after their first sexual contact so she could have rough sex with him again, but this time she informed him she wanted a harder sexual experience.
Unbeknownst to Mr. Bauer, who thought Ms. Hill was simply expressing her sexual preferences, Ms. Hill’s goal was to trick Mr. Bauer into having a rougher sexual experience so she could later claim it was not what she had requested, laying the groundwork for a financial settlement “According to the document.
Trevor Bauer, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has been suspended for 324 games by Major League Baseball, effective immediately, after Lindsey Hill accused him of sexual assault and domestic violence in June 2021.
Because the number of games matches two full seasons, this is the most severe punishment in MLB history under the domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse policy agreed to by MLB and the Players Union in 2015.

According to ESPN and The Athletic, Pasadena Police Agency Lt. Bill Grisafe confirmed that the department was investigating Bauer after a woman secured a restraining order against the Dodgers starting pitcher in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Bauer will appeal the sanction
Bauer plans to fight the penalty, which will cost him the rest of the 2022 season, all of the 2023 season, and the first few games of the 2024 season, as well as a salary cut of almost $60 million.
Bauer issued a statement on Friday saying, “In the strongest possible words, I deny committing any violation of the league’s domestic violence and sexual assault rules.”
“This action is being appealed, and I anticipate to win. My representatives and I have maintained the confidentiality of the proceedings throughout this period.”

Who is Trevor Bauer
Trevor Andrew Bauer (born January 17, 1991) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB). He was a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cleveland Indians, and Cincinnati Reds in the past.
Bauer was enamoured with pitching since he was a child, and he would often practise alone outside of his private lessons. Bauer elected to graduate a year early and enrol at the University of California, Los Angeles after three seasons with William S. Hart High School, culminating in a junior year in which he had a 0.79 earned run average (ERA).
As sophomores, he and fellow ace Gerrit Cole helped UCLA to a 22-game winning run and a College World Series trip, and Bauer won both the Golden Spikes Award and the National Pitcher of the Year Award the following year.
He was taken third overall by the Diamondbacks in the 2011 MLB Draft, and he made his main league debut the following June, being the first player from his draught class to do so.
Bauer was traded to Cleveland after one season with Arizona, during which he battled with his teammates. He spent the first two seasons there retooling his pitching style, correcting bad mechanics he picked up following an injury in 2012. Bauer had established himself as a regular force in the Indians’ starting rotation by 2016, but a stress fracture cut short his season shortly after his first MLB All-Star Game appearance in 2018, keeping him out of the rotation until the end of the season. Bauer struggled in both Cleveland and Cincinnati throughout the 2019 season, but he followed that up with his first Cy Young Award during the 60-game 2020 MLB season.
Bauer signed a three-year contract with the Dodgers in February 2021 after becoming a free agency after the 2020 season. He led the league in strikeouts and innings pitched through July 2, but was placed on administrative leave by MLB for the rest of the season as the league investigated sexual assault charges against him, which lasted into the next season. Bauer was suspended for 324 games by the league on April 29, 2022, as a consequence of their enquiry.
The day after the alleged assault, Trevor Bauer posts a video of Lindsey Hill in bed with him, “uninjured and grinning.”
The morning following the second alleged assault, Lindsey Hill was captured in bed with LA Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer, laughing sheepishly into the camera despite accusing him of sexual assault earlier in the year.
Lindsey Hill, 29, said that the encounter left her bruised and abused in her petition for a domestic violence restraining order filed in June 2021. She stated in her application that Bauer had struck her in the face and broke her lip during sexual contact. Additionally, she stated that Bauer, 31, had left fingernail scratches on her face that “spread my entire cheek and chin.” The footage, which was captured in the early morning hours of May 16, 2021, is part of Bauer’s most recent court filing, which is a motion to dismiss Hill’s counterclaim.
